Malacañang will wait for the release of the two consolidated versions of the proposed anti-political dynasty bill before President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. decides whether to certify it as urgent.
Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro said the President’s decision hinges on the strength and clarity of the bill’s provisions, stressing that the certification process requires a finalized draft.
She urged the public to understand the President’s role, noting that the measure aimed at curbing political families from holding multiple government positions, must undergo proper review before it can be signed.
