The Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology is pushing for the full implementation of the Magna Carta of Women to ensure equality and eliminate discrimination in the recruitment of women in government agencies.

Board Member Dr. Lani Palmones stated that all applicants must be given equal process and opportunity from the initial step up to the final interview without bias.

The official clarified that it is time to raise the current five to ten percent quota of women in public safety agencies due to the growing number of female passers in the licensure examination.

Dr. Palmones added that proper enforcement of Republic Act 9710 will open wider opportunities for qualified women to serve the nation.
