A police captain and a police corporal in Cagayan de Oro face the risk of losing their professional licenses after being accused of sexual harassment against two criminology interns.
According to Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP) President Dr. Gerry J. Caño, the office and its legal team are conducting a thorough investigation to formally file administrative and legal charges against the two suspects assigned to COCPO PS-7 Bulua.
Dr. Caño explained that a PRC license is a privilege rather than a right, and can be revoked if a professional is proven to have violated the ethical code of conduct.
He noted that under these regulations, professionals have previously had their licenses stripped for engaging in unlawful acts.
