Police Regional Office 10 (PRO-10) has deployed over 100 additional police officers to the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) to ensure safety throughout the month-long Higalaay Festival.
PRO-10 Spokesperson Police Major Joann Navarro stated that the deployment is part of proactive security measures aimed at boosting police visibility citywide.
Navarro noted that heightened visibility enables faster emergency response times in the event of an incident.
She added that security protocols were fully activated well before the official launch of festival activities.
