Daniel Nobleza of the Inday Sara Movement Philippines highlighted that defense cross-examination in the Senate Impeachment Court prompted the Anti-Money Laundering Council to clarify and adjust its prior testimony regarding Chinese government funding.
Nobleza stated that cross-examination established that no state funds from China entered the accounts of Vice President Sara Duterte’s family.
He expressed concern over potential procedural missteps that could lead to a mistrial, urging the public to examine verified court records rather than unsubstantiated claims linking public officials to foreign governments.
