Committee on Public Safety Chair Councilor Roger Abaday assured that all security plans are in place for a smooth and peaceful celebration of the Higalaay Festival in Cagayan de Oro City.
Despite their tight preparations, he still reminded the public not to be complacent and to remain continuously alert during all scheduled activities.
To ensure collective vigilance over peace and order, the official strongly encouraged coordination with barangay personnel and tanods to help monitor and report law violators during this festival season.
Finally, Abaday revealed that personnel from local and national police, RTA, NTC, and other agencies are well-prepared and formally deployed to every area with festivities.
