BONODA President Emmanuel Espinosa reported that persistent weekly fuel price increases and administrative maintenance expenses threaten the operational viability of public utility vehicles.
Espinosa noted that driver net earnings have declined severely without fuel subsidies or approved fare adjustments. He warned that drivers may temporarily halt operations if operating costs continue to exceed daily revenues.
