Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to child protection, law enforcement authorities arrested a 24-year-old student identified as the region’s Top 2 Most Wanted Person, alias “Kim,” in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental on the afternoon of Monday, August 3, 2026.
According to PRO-10 Regional Director PBGen. Christopher N. Abrahano, the suspect was brought to justice for allegedly sexually abusing his two minor nieces, aged 11 and 12, in 2023.
The suspect faces two counts of Statutory Rape with no bail recommended, along with seven counts of Acts of Lasciviousness with recommended bail ranging from ₱180,000.00 to ₱200,000.00 per count.
The suspect is currently in the custody of the Villanueva Municipal Police Station following a joint operation conducted by the 1001st Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10, and partner police units.
