The Oro Youth Development Council opposed the complete banning of video games, saying these are already part of youth experiences and that children have the right to play.

However, Kyle Chester Javier Cotacte of the council stressed the need for strict government oversight to ensure the safety and security of minors using gaming platforms.

He expressed concern over possible indoctrination and exposure to violent content that could influence young minds.

Cotacte called on authorities to focus on regulating games to prevent harmful influences rather than removing them entirely.
