Authorities in Pangantucan officially terminated the search and rescue operation for missing hiker Alkharj Zamayla in Mt. Kalatungan.
PRO-10 spokesperson PMAJ Joann Navarro explained that after 11 continuous days of searching, no signs of the victim were found.
Despite the use of drones and K9 teams, no information surfaced regarding Zamayla’s whereabouts.
The operation, conducted by authorities, the military, and volunteers, was formally ended with the approval of the town’s mayor.
