The office of Senator Robin Padilla announced its willingness to undergo investigation amidst allegations that the senator harbored Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa to evade an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant.
Office representative Samira Gutoc stated that no official ICC warrant or documentation confirming dela Rosa’s wanted status has been presented, adding that no obstruction of justice occurred.
Gutoc emphasized that Padilla’s actions remained within constitutional bounds, pointing to public activity records from May 9 to May 11 as proof of transparency.
