The location of the new PDP-Laban headquarters in Cagayan de Oro City holds significant value for the party.
Following the formal opening of the office on Tomasaco, 8th Street, Nazareth, led by City Councilor Joyleen Girlie Balaba, it was revealed that the property is a vacant lot that the party requested to use as an office at no cost.
Councilor Balaba explained that they specifically chose this area because it is a major thoroughfare in the city, making it highly accessible to residents of District 1 as they commute to and from work.
Furthermore, she noted that Tomasaco is recognized as one of the city’s oldest and most historic streets.
