Vice President Sara Duterte may struggle to defend herself against three articles of impeachment related to confidential funds, unexplained wealth, and alleged bribery of DepEd officials.
Cobbie Jan Canda of Kabataan Partylist said these issues have long been exposed but remain unresolved.
He pointed out inconsistencies between Duterte’s Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) and her actual assets.
Despite a previous one-year ban from the Supreme Court, Canda believes the allegations are now stronger and well-founded, describing Duterte as being “fried in her own oil.”
