ACT Northern Mindanao Coordinator Roland Cruz reported that public school teachers continue to face heavy administrative workloads during National Teachers’ Month.
Cruz noted that overlapping tasks—including grade computations and mandatory seminars—prevent educators from taking necessary rest during the September 5 to October 5 observance period.
He emphasized that ceremonial incentives fail to address core grievances regarding low compensation and inadequate benefits.
