Cagayan de Oro Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) Head Doy Ramiro assured the public that the temporary operation of Green GSM Electric Taxis will not worsen traffic congestion or threaten the livelihoods of traditional transport operators.
Ramiro clarified that final municipal approval remains pending under Mayor Rolando Klarex Uy while local operator petitions are evaluated.
He noted that the 300 units authorized by the LTFRB for Northern Mindanao will not concentrate in the city simultaneously, as charging facilities are based in El Salvador City, with vehicle tracking data utilized to monitor operations.
