Cagayan de Oro Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) Head Doy Ramiro announced enhanced traffic enforcement measures directing commuters to utilize authorized public transport vehicles.
Ramiro explained that shifting commuter preferences toward high-capacity public utility vehicles reduces overall road congestion.
He urged the public to avoid unauthorized transport, such as unregistered bao-bao tricycles, noting that cooperative-managed public transport units provide standardized complaint mechanisms for passenger grievances.
