PRO-10 Spokesperson Police Major Joann Navarro confirmed that two PNP personnel—an officer and a corporal—have been relieved from their positions following allegations of sexual assault against two criminology interns at their station.
Navarro disclosed that the two were transferred to the City Holding and Accounting Section of COCPO and disarmed while the investigation is underway.
The Women and Children Protection Desk is scheduled to take statements from the victims, who were working as female interns. Finally, Navarro assured that PRO-10 will never tolerate such acts, in accordance with the strict directives of Police Brigadier General Aaron Mandia.
