The choice of white as the color for the June 28 protest symbolizes neutrality among various church groups and organizations.

Atty. Luke Espiritu of Artikulo XI and the White Ribbon Movement explained that the white ribbon signifies that they do not favor any political faction that exploits the issue of corruption for its own interests.

He emphasized that accountability should not be reduced to partisan groups using anti-corruption campaigns for their own agenda.

Whether it is forces seeking the return of the former administration or those aiming to expose the faults of the current leadership, their call remains the same: all officials involved in any form of corruption must be held accountable.

Espiritu stressed that every official, regardless of position, must undergo proper legal processes and thorough investigation.
