Atty. Constantino Tinnex Jaraula, former mayor and congressman of Cagayan de Oro, challenged the defense, stating that one should not just accuse an investigation of being biased without providing solid evidence.
The lawyer asserted that saying a process is biased is insufficient; it must be demonstrated and proven to the public. Truth plays a major role in every step the government takes to ensure that allegations do not remain baseless accusations.
Atty. Jaraula emphasized that revealing the truth is the only way to demonstrate fairness in ongoing investigations.
