The remarks made by Vice President Sara Duterte against the First Family and former Speaker Martin Romualdez cannot be justified as freedom of expression or mere anger, according to catechist Bro. Wilson Amad.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Amad clarified that government officials, especially a Vice President, must remain civil in their speech because their actions greatly influence public consciousness, particularly among the youth.

He emphasized that political context should not be used as an excuse to disregard morality.

He concluded that such actions are not just local political issues but matters seen worldwide, requiring high standards of conduct.
