Kabataan Partylist representative Cobbie Jan Canda announced youth-led demonstrations scheduled for September 21—the anniversary of Martial Law—to protest forced land acquisition and state repression.
Canda highlighted the Pax Silica project in Tarlac and proposed commercial developments in Davao, warning that top-down industrial projects undermine environmental security and local economic stability.
He urged youth organizations nationwide to join coordinated actions opposing compulsory land acquisition.
