YouthSync Northern Mindanao member Kyle Chester Cotacte characterized allegations involving the misuse of ₱600 million in confidential funds by the Office of the Vice President as a form of structural violence against citizens.
Cotacte explained that those allocated resources could have funded social welfare programs like 4Ps, educational scholarships, school infrastructure for DepEd, and essential public hospital equipment.
He asserted that the diversion of funds from vital public services makes the impeachment trial a direct daily concern for every Filipino family.
