Kabataan Partylist representative Cobbie Jan Canda condemned Vice President Sara Duterte’s alleged failure to disclose private business interests and corporate ties in her Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN).
Canda asserted that holding financial stakes in commercial entities securing government contracts violates constitutional ethics standards and constitutes an impeachable offense involving millions of pesos.
He recalled that similar omissions regarding mandatory asset disclosures formed the legal basis for the impeachment and removal of former Chief Justice Renato Corona.
