Stella Ferrarez, a mental health advocate, called on parents to remain strong and supportive of their children as classes reopen on June 8.
She emphasized that participation in activities such as Brigada Eskwela is an important way to show full support for students in their schooling.
Ferrarez explained that despite economic challenges and limited resources, parents should look back on past years as proof that they can overcome difficulties.
She advised families not to be overly stressed, but instead to recall effective strategies they used before to ensure their children’s success in learning.
She added that by facing obligations gradually and with a calm mindset, families can ease their burdens during this time of crisis.
