Wilson C. Amad challenged government officials to show support for residents of Zone 2B, Barangay Mabuaya, who face land disputes and threats of power disconnection.
He questioned the recent raid in the area, noting the absence of media and government witnesses during the search warrant’s execution.
Amad revealed that the disconnection order came from the Office of the Building Official and is now under legal review.
He said they plan to file a complaint with the Commission on Human Rights and escalate it nationally if local authorities fail to act.
Amad urged officials not to remain silent but to protect the residents.
