PRO-10 Spokesperson PMAJ Joann Navarro clarified that the implementation of Oplan Balik Eskwela is not limited to the opening of classes on June 8 but will continue throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

This follows the directive of PRO-10 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Christopher N. Abrahano to strengthen school security.

Police personnel will continue to be deployed to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and parents. Navarro explained that while schools manage internal affairs, police presence outside will remain to review and enhance security measures.

Efforts include police visibility, mobile patrols, and foot patrols in coordination with school officials.

The police also called for support from parents, teachers, and local government units to collectively achieve a safer environment for students.
