Volt Bohol, President of the August Twenty One Movement (ATOM), issued a reminder to the Marcos administration regarding its call for officials to “have some shame” (mahiya naman kayo), one year after President Marcos Jr. uttered it during his previous State of the Nation Address (SONA).
The group is now asking if there have been any concrete results or actions following that call and if any officials have shown any sign of shame.
As the next SONA approaches, Bohol emphasized that they continue to call for government accountability and the fulfillment of promises made to the people.
For now, ATOM is awaiting clarification on the progress of the President’s statement.
