Employees in the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector say they have not forgotten the promises made by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to their industry.

Yet, despite repeated appeals, they remain disappointed over the government’s lack of action.

As Marcos delivers his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) today, the BPO Industry Employees Network is once again reminding the administration of its unfulfilled commitments.

Jupiter Delda, the group’s spokesperson, said they hope this year’s SONA will finally include concrete steps toward passing a long-awaited Magna Carta for BPO workers, a measure they believe is essential to protect their rights and welfare.
