Former Oro Chamber of Commerce President Ray Talimio Jr. raised concerns regarding the absence of a public live stream during Cagayan de Oro’s 2027 Annual Investment Program budget deliberations on October 15.
Talimio noted that because regular City Council sessions are routinely broadcast online, municipal budget discussions should maintain equal public accessibility.
He emphasized that transparency allows taxpayers to evaluate departmental allocations, even as city councilors ultimately approved the proposed Annual Investment Program.
