Janine Querequere, bronze medalist in chess at the 2026 Palarong Pambansa, expressed her joy upon learning that she will receive a ₱46,000 incentive for her achievement.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Querequere shared her plans to invest the money wisely, give a portion to her father, and use part of it for their home.
She also promised her younger sibling that she would buy stuffed toys as a reward for her victory. Looking ahead, the young athlete committed to continuing her training to further sharpen her skills in chess.
Finally, Querequere offered heartfelt gratitude to God for the success she achieved in the competition, underscoring her determination to keep striving for excellence.
