A landslide made the road from Barangay Gusa-Galaxy to Barangay Indahag impassable, leaving many passengers and motorists stranded, at dawn, February 6.

Driver Cyprince Alo-ao reported that the road was covered with soft soil and uprooted trees, preventing vehicles from passing through.

Stranded commuters appealed to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH-10) to conduct clearing operations so they could reach their destinations.

Authorities noted that manual clearing was impossible because the debris consisted of a mix of clay, sand, rocks, and fallen trees.

The situation has caused significant delays and inconvenience, highlighting the urgent need for heavy equipment and coordinated response to restore access to the affected area.
