The Police Regional Office 10 has intensified its forces to ensure strict monitoring across the region, especially for the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Top 10 Semi-Finals in Misamis Occidental.
According to PRO-10 spokesperson Maj. Joann Navarro, additional police deployment has already been launched to guarantee peace, order, and safety for delegates, visitors, and spectators attending the major event.
Police units are closely guarding main roads, terminals, ports, and other areas expected to draw large crowds during the competition.
Navarro added that strong police visibility and coordination with local officials are ongoing to prevent any security threats.
She assured the public that the police force is fully prepared to provide protection until the conclusion of the scheduled activities on April 26.
