Manila 3rd District Representative Joel Chua firmly asserted that “truth cannot be denied if there is evidence,” in response to circulating social media posts attacking the prosecution team in the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte.
Chua defended the report being spread online, stressing that it was fake news.
He emphasized that evidence serves as the foundation of the Articles of Impeachment filed against the Vice President, clarifying that strong documents and testimonies will prove the allegations.
The lawmaker urged all parties to stand by the truth and avoid being swayed by misleading information.
