Luzminda Escobidal, president of PN ROA Canitoan Transport Cooperative (PONTRANSCO), voiced concern about the challenges faced by transport cooperatives under the government’s service contracting program.
She explained that drivers are affected by delays in the processing system used in the program, which has disrupted their operations.
Escobidal also pointed out technical issues with transport service devices, particularly the QR scanners used to record services.
Beyond these glitches, the problems have added to their operational expenses, further burdening cooperatives.
Transport groups now hope that these issues will be addressed promptly to ensure that their daily services remain smooth and uninterrupted.
