Moro Consensus Group Chairman Drieza Lininding stated that thousands of Marawi Siege victims remain uncompensated nine years following the conflict.

Lininding reported that fewer than half of affected families have received payouts from the Marawi Compensation Board, with approximately 3,000 claims settled out of 13,000 filed applications.

He attributed delays to complex documentation requirements, limited national government fund releases, and administrative transfers of files to the National Housing Authority, calling for expedited processing to support displaced residents remaining in temporary shelters.
