CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Transport groups have firmly opposed the sudden entry of taxis from a foreign company in Cagayan de Oro.
CAFITADA President Bernie Jamaca revealed that they have already filed a complaint with the LTFRB Central Office against Green GSM EV Taxi, owned by a billionaire from Vietnam.
He added that they also submitted the complaint to Congress and the Senate to investigate how the franchise was granted.
To strengthen their petition, CAFITADA joined forces with major transport groups in Manila such as MANIBELA and the National Federation of Transport Cooperatives to defend local operators.
