Over a hundred young athletes from Cagayan de Oro City will compete in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa as part of the DepEd Region 10 delegation.
Program head Rommel Aclo shared that although the city did not secure the overall championship last year, he believes their performance remains strong, especially in team events such as basketball, futsal, and football.
These sports contributed significantly to the number of athletes chosen this year.
DepEd Region 10 has scheduled the final preparations and departure of the athletes on May 18, ensuring the delegation is complete and ready for the national games.
