The month-long Higalaay Festival celebration in Cagayan de Oro City remained generally peaceful despite rain showers and minor schedule adjustments.
According to Janboy Actub, spokesperson for Mayor Klarex Uy, they are deeply grateful to God and the public’s cooperation for maintaining city security throughout the festival.
Meanwhile, the official noted that the City Tourism Office and stakeholders have yet to conduct an official post-assessment to evaluate the overall celebration.
Nevertheless, the local government extended sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making the citywide festival joyful and successful.
