The House Prosecution Panel raised concerns over the use of confidential funds to cover additional expenses of the Vice Presidential Security Group (VSPG). Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong stressed that the Joint Circular prohibits the allocation of such funds to augment costs for employees and soldiers who are already officially hired.

The panel highlighted that the VSPG already has more than 400 members under government employment, making the use of confidential funds for their added benefits a violation of established standards.

Lawmakers emphasized that every provision must be respected to prevent misuse of public funds.
