A key meeting was held between the LGU of Initao and the provincial government of Misamis Oriental under Governor Juliet T. Uy, on Tuesday.
The dialogue focused on strengthening collaboration for faster implementation of development programs across the province.
Governor Uy announced that priority projects include road rehabilitation and construction, expected to begin soon.
The plan will first address roads leading to remote and upland areas of Initao to improve transport and economic activity.
Better infrastructure is seen as vital to connecting communities and supporting livelihoods.
Mayor Mercy Grace Acain, together with the Initao council, expressed gratitude for the province’s support.
She emphasized that provincial backing is crucial for building a more progressive municipality.
