CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Office of the Civil Defense (OCD-10) is on ‘Blue Alert” until Easter Sunday.
OCD-10 Regional Director Rosauro Gonzales quips that all response agencies in the region is on alert againts all sorts of threat while the Christian Community observes the Holy Week.
An emergency preparedness response coordination meeting was held on Monday.
Dir Rosario expressed that the meeting was attended by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), PNP, AFP and LGUs, to insure the safety of the public.
“Actually starting today, until Monday, we are on ‘blue alert”. Lahat ng mga response agencies, infact nagkaon kami ng emergency preparedness response coordination meeting. So didto napag-usapan namin ang dapat paghandaan, specially ang mga human induced, yong mga fire, yong mga vihecular accident”, he added.
He said, the alert means that all agencies under OCD will be open 24/7 including all public hospitals.
