Salome Agabe, Child Development Teacher Coordinator of Barangay Lapasan, revealed that fire victims are still staying inside the evacuation center in the barangay.
She said that more than 200 families, or 759 individuals, have been recorded in the facility, including senior citizens, children, and other vulnerable sectors.
She also mentioned that various forms of assistance such as food, clothing, and other necessities continue to arrive from different groups and individuals.
Agabe added that they are deeply grateful to everyone who has extended help while care for the affected residents continues.
At present, more aid is expected to arrive to meet the daily needs of those who lost their homes.
The barangay also continues to monitor the condition of each family inside the evacuation center.
