Ben Ranque, founding convenor of the MASA Sara Duterte Alliance (MASADA), denounced the possible approval by lawmakers of the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte, calling it an act “without morals.”
Speaking to Bombo Radyo, Ranque urged members of Congress to vote according to their conscience and the will of their constituents, rather than personal interests or financial incentives.
He condemned reports of alleged payouts in exchange for impeachment votes, describing them as “blood money.”
Ranque appealed to legislators not to sell their votes and instead prioritize the public’s welfare over personal gain.
He expressed hope that lawmakers would set aside self-interest and uphold the trust of the people.
