Cagayan de Oro 1st District Representative Lordan Suan affirmed that he holds no political bias, emphasizing that his role as one of the prosecutors in the impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte is purely in line with the law.

Bert Amplayo, assistant district director in Suan’s office, explained that the congressman’s inclusion in the prosecution panel had long been anticipated, especially given his active participation in House Committee on Justice hearings related to the impeachment complaint.

Amplayo added that as a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Suan is bound by his oath as a lawyer to uphold due process and ensure that the proceedings remain firmly grounded in legal principles.
