A 13-year-old girl and two adults drowned at the beach in Bliss, Barangay San Pedro, Initao, Misamis Oriental. According to reports, the sudden surge of strong waves caused the deaths of the three victims while they were swimming.

Police Investigator PCPL Ricky Absecia Lagon Jr. of the Initao Municipal Police Station revealed that one of the victims was a Grade 7 student from Calacapan, Initao. Their bodies were recovered and brought to Angel Spirit Funeral Homes. The young girl was the first to be found, followed later by the two adult victims.
