The United Drivers Association (UNIDA) revealed that many of its members have not received the promised fuel subsidy and cash assistance, with only ₱1,500 out of the ₱5,000 aid reaching them.
UNIDA President Joel Gabatan said the group will revisit the LTFRB-10 office to demand clarification, as traditional jeepney drivers continue to struggle with monthly fuel price hikes.
He added they will wait until the end of April before launching their next move.
The group fears that the April 22 second phase of the petroleum rollback will be used by the government as a reason to end the aid program entirely.
In Cagayan de Oro, about 500 drivers and operators are members of UNIDA.
