Misamis Oriental Board Member Dexter Yasay clarified that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan did not slash the proposed budget for Governor Juliet Uy’s office, contrary to claims linking it to medicine shortages in provincial hospitals.

In an exclusive interview with Bombo Radyo, Yasay explained that only the Provincial Health Office budget was reduced, a separate department that supervises hospitals.

He stressed that the allocated funds for medicine stood at ₱100,000 and ₱200,000 for medical equipment, dismissing the ₱95 million cut as misleading information against the provincial board.
