he Center for Youth Advocacy and Networking Inc. reaffirmed its commitment to monitoring the state of public schools through its Multiply‑ED project.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, project officer Mark Alcazar explained that Multiply‑ED, in partnership with Government Watch, focuses on assessing the quality of services received by senior high school learners nationwide.
Their monitoring covers NCR, Visayas, Laguna, Palawan, Cagayan de Oro, BARMM, and General Santos to capture the real conditions in schools.
Alcazar added that the ongoing Youth‑Led Educational Inform Regional Conference presents findings to the public regarding gaps and needs in the education system.
Through this initiative, the group hopes the Department of Education’s regional, division, and national offices will provide concrete solutions to address identified shortcomings.
The advocacy aims to build a more transparent and responsive public education system for the youth.
