Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reported that over 600 schools in Iran have been demolished or damaged since U.S. and Israeli military actions began on February 28.
He said more than 1,000 students and teachers have been killed or injured, including 175 deaths in a strike on a primary school in Minab.
Araghchi described the attack as deliberate, citing the attackers’ advanced technology and precision systems.
He condemned the strike as a war crime and crime against humanity, demanding accountability.
He also accused the U.S. and Israel of systematically targeting civilian infrastructure such as hospitals, ambulances, and residential areas.
Araghchi stressed that Iran does not seek war but will defend itself, calling for global condemnation of what he termed aggression and genocide.
