Councilor Roger Abaday warned operators of Green GSM Taxis that no special treatment has been granted to them and that they must strictly comply with all city regulations and ordinances.
The official explained that despite holding temporary operational permits, these electric taxis are strictly prohibited from unauthorized parking and route deviations outside their approved plan.
The councilor added that the company must secure formal municipal business permits before constructing and operating their vehicle charging stations.
Thus, the official emphasized that transport permits do not grant operators the freedom to act with exemption from local regulations enforced across Cagayan de Oro.
